My focus in my educational and professional life has always been to give my best each day, and I’m grateful to continue this drive at Hand & Ortho. My journey to Physical Therapy started at Utah State University, where I studied and got my degree in bioengineering. Although a great profession, it ultimately wasn’t where I wanted to make an impact. With a little soul-searching while volunteering as an aide at Hand & Ortho, I found a clinic of fun, hard-working professionals that got to make a direct impact on individuals daily, and naturally I wanted to get involved!
I graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, with a particular passion for orthopedic practice. My desire to keep learning and to better my practice skills and experience brought me back to Hand and Ortho as an orthopedic resident. My ultimate goal with each patient is to help them get back to what they love to do, and if we can do that while having fun, then even better!
When I’m not in the clinic, I love being on a tennis court, whether that’s playing tennis or pickleball with friends. I also enjoy running and lifting at the gym, as I love the energy and enthusiasm it gives me afterwards. And I love spending time with my two nieces and my newborn nephew, who keep life goofy and fun.
