Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy - Certified in Dry Needling
Erinlee Boden, PT, DPT, OCS

I grew up in Southern California doing anything and everything I could to be outside and to move my body. I swam, played Varsity tennis, skied black diamonds on Mammoth Mountain and played baseball with the boys before there were girls’ softball leagues. But my love affair with the body truly began in sixth grade when my teacher created a special anatomy section just for our class. From that time on, I knew I wanted to find a profession where I could combine my love for the human body and its mechanics with my love of physical activity.

After graduating from BYU with a degree in physical education, I earned my Master of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. I practiced as a physical therapist in San Jose, CA for nearly a decade before moving to Utah in 2009 to be closer to family. While in the Beehive State, I became a Credentialed Clinical Instructor and later earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Additionally, I am a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist, making me part of the 6% of licensed physical therapists with this certification. I am also certified in dry needling.

The heart of my practice is truly my patients. One of my greatest career joys is watching them achieve their physical goals and reclaim their bodies after surgery and injury. In 2024, I injured my right shoulder and became a physical therapy patient after a rotator cuff repair. That experience has further deepened my skills as a practitioner and has allowed me even greater empathy for and insight into the patient experience. I am fluent in Spanish, as well.

When I’m not helping my patients achieve their physical goals, you can find me outside hiking or skiing, eating chips and salsa or binge-watching British crime dramas.
