CDC Covid-19 Guidelines and Precautionary Measures In Practice at All Hand and Orthopedic Clinic Locations

Hand & Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialists is acting in accordance with all CDC and the Utah State Department of Health guidelines.

We are following all recommendations set forth by the WHO, CDC and State Government. Our main concern continues to be the safety and well-being of our patients, staff and community.

PRE-TREATMENT PATIENT SCREENING

 If a patient shows any of the following symptoms, they will be asked to reschedule their appointment:

  • Temperature above 100.4° F
  • Cough
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of taste or smell


Masks are now optional. If you are uncomfortable being around anyone without a mask, please let your therapist know and we will do our best to accommodate you. 


THERAPISTS AND STAFF

Hand Sanitation/Protective Gloves– all physical therapists change gloves and/or wash with hand sanitizer before treating each new patient.


CLINICS

All therapy equipment is disinfected between each patient.

Hand Sanitizer– is readily available throughout clinics for patients and staff.

Private Treatments Rooms– are available for patient treatment.
