I have been a physical therapist since 1980. In over 37 years I have seen, and been a part of, many changes in the physical therapy profession and in the treatments that we provide our patients.
One thing that has not changed over the years is my commitment to providing each of my patients with the best and appropriate care that they need and deserve. I am a fairly easy going person, who firmly subscribes to the adage that laughter is the best medicine. Although I make my patient’s work hard in therapy, my team and I try to make it as pleasant of an experience as we can, and still meet the patient’s goals. I believe that each individual has their own unique knowledge and perspective on life, and thus I enjoy working with patients of all ages, religions, and ethnicities. I feel that I learn as much from my patients as they learn from me.
I have enjoyed being a physical therapist. It has been, and continues to be, a very rewarding journey.
